細光鋒を使った純羊毛で豊橋の職人が作った筆になります。 当店は羊毛筆と言えば『白夢』という筆があり、その影に眠っていた2〜30年前に作られた筆になります。羊毛の中では比較的硬めの毛を使っておりますので、コシがあり書きやすい一方で先厚めの作りなので羊毛らしい字が書ける筆になっております。サイズは穂径12mm／穂長70mmの筆です。

白馬毛で硬さも程よく10cm長さがある木軸の筆で、しかもこの値段に収まるものはなかなか無く、極力お値段を抑えるために名前もつけず商品名もそのままでやらせてもらっています。

広島県呉市川尻町は筆の四大産地の一つで愛知県豊橋に次ぐ高級筆の生産量が多い地域と言われています。そちらでつくられたこちらは純牛耳毛筆。 牛耳（牛の耳の毛）は墨もちこそよくないですが高い弾力性と耐久性があり、力強い筆致と細やかな表現が可能です。毎年行われる『今年の漢字』に使われている筆にもこの毛が入っていると言われています。 牛耳の毛に関しては中国より韓国の方が毛がいいと言われ、こちらは1970年代のものを皮から仕入れてギリギリの長さで作られた筆になります。 サイズは軸径１cmで穂長７cmと長鋒で牛耳の良さである粘りを生かして作品創作して頂ければ面白い筆です。

豊橋筆になります　小ぶりな玉毛（猫の毛）の小筆になります。 サイズは軸径6.5㎜、穂長22㎜。主に仮名筆になります。 こちらもかなり前にまとめて、うん百本作ってもらった小筆で古めの毛を使っていまして 穂先がききます。 お客様からは、柔らかい毛質でしなやかな線という感想から、絵手紙、かな、写経、小野道風の臨書などに使えるのでは？とのお声もいただけました。 墨含みに対しての反応は様々で、筆圧のコントロールが必要だというちょっと難しそうな筆というご意見や、初心者の方が使っても書きやすいというご意見など、評価は少し分かれるようです。 "Nishiki" is a compact calligraphy brush made from cat hair (tama-ge), produced in the traditional Toyohashi style.
