当店の名がつく馬毛の三号筆（一般的な四号筆より一つ大きい筆）
純尾脇（馬の毛で一番いい毛）と言いたいところなんですが、外巻に馬の背中の毛、中にわずかな『とある毛』を入れることで、馬毛らしい剛毛尾脇筆ながら墨もちと書き味が良い筆となっております。
サイズは軸径12㎜、穂長52㎜という半紙だったらどんな字数でも大丈夫な大きさになっております。

No. 3 “Shoka” – Firm Horsehair Calligraphy Brush (Shop Signature Model)
This No. 3 calligraphy brush, named after our shop Shoka, is slightly larger than a typical No. 4 brush and features a carefully crafted blend of horsehair to achieve both firmness and smooth writing performance.
While we would love to call it pure tail-side horsehair (the finest part of horsehair), this brush is constructed using:
Outer layer: back hair for structure
Core: a small amount of “special” hair blended with tail-side horsehair
This thoughtful combination allows the brush to maintain the strength and resilience of a traditional tail-side horsehair brush, while offering better ink retention and smoother brushwork.
Shaft diameter: 12 mm
Bristle length: 52 mm
Size: No. 3 (larger than standard No. 4)
Recommended for: Writing various character sizes on hanshi paper
