This is a rare medium-sized calligraphy brush (chūfude) made with mountain hare hair (yama usagi), which is now difficult to find.
It offers a perfect balance of firmness and flexibility, making it highly suitable for kana, practical writing, and medium-sized characters.

With just one brush, you can create neat kaisho (regular script) for formal documents, or expressive kana works and personal pieces in smaller formats.
