イタチの書き味に近づけるべく作られた筆で、同じ大きさのイタチ筆よりお値打ちかと思われます。
実は筆軸で主な材料となる竹も、今業者さんが激減して少なくなっていて、そんな中、木軸で独特の色みで作ったんだそうです。
竹軸に比べるとほんのほんの若干重いですが、それも楽しんでいただける範囲かと思います。
中の穂長は42㎜で今一番人気で、仮名用に使われていますが、素直な線が出せるので漢字でもご利用いただけます。

Amid the ongoing shortage of weasel hair, the Byakko brush was developed as a new alternative using silver fox hair.
Crafted to closely replicate the feel of a traditional weasel brush, Byakko offers a similar writing experience at a more affordable price.
While many brush handles are made of bamboo, the availability of quality bamboo has also declined in recent years. In response, this brush features a wooden handle, specially produced with a unique natural finish.
It is very slightly heavier than a bamboo-handled brush, but the difference is subtle—and adds to its character.
