叶は「葉」を意味しており、揮毫する時にサラサラと紙との摩擦する音が、蚕が桑の葉を食べる音に似ているので名づけられたと言われております。穂先の大きさ、腰の強さ共に写経、手紙などに最適な小筆です。
当店別製品で双羊牌と同等の筆です。

This high-quality small brush is named “KaHitsu Shun’yō Shokuyōsei”, which poetically means "the sound of spring silkworms eating mulberry leaves as the brush touches the paper."
The character “葉” (leaf) is represented here by “叶,” evoking the gentle, rustling sound of brush strokes resembling the sound of silkworms nibbling on leaves.

With its finely tapered tip and firm resilience, this brush is ideal for sutra copying (shakyō), letters, and other delicate works.
Comparable in quality to our Sōyō-hai brush, it is a premium writing tool made with raccoon hair and goat hair.
