質のいい尾脇を使った馬毛中心の穂先にバネと柔らかさを加えるためにイタチの毛を加えた筆になります。しかもイタチは濡れると集まろうとする癖があるのでスッキリとした穂先になります。漢字用で楷行草使える筆かと思います。
サイズは軸径１１㎜、穂長５０㎜。の四号筆ぐらいの大きさで気持ち細めに感じるかもしれません。
This brush, titled Shōkadō-sei Itachi-iri, is crafted by Shōkadō and features a primarily horsehair tip made from high-quality obiwaki (tail base hair), blended with weasel hair to enhance both springiness and softness.
Weasel hair has the natural tendency to draw together when wet, resulting in a neat and well-formed tip.
Ideal for writing kanji in kaisho (standard), gyōsho (semi-cursive), and sōsho (cursive) styles.
Size: Shaft diameter: 11 mm / Bristle length: 50 mm
Comparable to a size 4 brush, though it may feel slightly slender in hand.
