純白四号『新風』　Junpaku No.4 Calligraphy Brush – “Shinpū” (Soft Blend of White Horsehair and Goat Hair – Limited Release)

純白とは白馬と羊毛の兼毛筆のことです。
なので、兼毛の中では少し柔らかい方の筆になります。
大きさは四号筆で穂の長さが5センチ、軸の太さが11mmになります。
こちらは当店に昔からある筆で、今回、お声がけがあり、こちらにも出させていただきました。
数量限定（とはいえ結構あります！）で少しだけ割引して出させていただきます。
筆の感じとしては清心に似てますが、少し小ぶりですので使いやすいかもしれません。清心を使っていた方でダルマ軸の方がいいかなという方もお試しください。

“Shinpū” (新風, meaning New Wind) is a No.4 calligraphy brush made from a junpaku blend—white horsehair at the core and goat hair on the outside. This combination results in a slightly softer feel than typical mixed-hair brushes, offering both flexibility and control.

With a bristle length of 5 cm and a shaft diameter of 11 mm, it’s compact, well-balanced, and easy to handle for a wide range of calligraphy styles.

This brush has long been part of our in-store collection, but due to recent customer interest, we are pleased to offer it here as well. While technically a limited-quantity item, we do have a reasonable stock and are offering it at a slightly discounted price.

If you’re familiar with our Seishin brush, you’ll find Shinpū similar in feel—but a bit smaller, which may make it more versatile. It’s also a great choice for those who prefer a Daruma-style shaft.
