“Shiratori” (白鳥, meaning White Swan) is a uniquely designed goat-hair brush for modern-style calligraphy (gendaishibun). Measuring 18 mm in bristle length and just 1.5 mm in diameter, it features a slender, elongated tip.

Its most remarkable feature?
The mensō (detail brush) portion of the tip is removable, allowing you to adjust the overall tip length to suit your writing style or desired stroke sensitivity.
