金市松柄の小型屏風です。
これに書いたり何かと併せて飾ったりできます。
きちんと墨が弾かずにのる加工をされた金紙で広げると半紙大の二曲屏風になります。

This is a small two-panel folding screen (byōbu) decorated with a golden ichimatsu check pattern and delicate cherry blossom motifs. When opened, it expands to Hanshi size (half-sheet calligraphy paper), providing the perfect surface for writing or display. The gold paper has been specially treated so that ink adheres smoothly without repelling, making it suitable for calligraphy or artwork.

In Japan, a byōbu (屏風) is a traditional folding screen originally used as a room divider and decorative furnishing. The gold folding screen (kin-byōbu) holds a special place in Japanese culture, symbolizing celebration, elegance, and prosperity.
