This is a rare medium-sized calligraphy brush made of Tamage (cat hair), named “Shoka”.
Crafted with strong and resilient Japanese cat hair, the brush tip has excellent responsiveness, allowing for sharp and expressive strokes.

Brush tip length: 32 mm

High-quality Tamage brushes are becoming increasingly rare, especially with brush tips as long as 32 mm, since Japanese cats naturally do not grow very long hair.
For this reason, brushes of this size and quality are produced only in very limited numbers.
