かな半切の他、中字漢字草書など、古い羊毛と白馬毛を合わせた筆ですので、粘りのある筆になるます。
サイズは軸径11㎜で穂長が50㎜

This finely crafted calligraphy brush, “Shikō Seishō” (芝香清賞, meaning “A Pure Appreciation of Grassy Fragrance”), is part of a limited stock of approximately 40 brushes originally selected by Shikō Kawaguchi, one of Japan’s leading female masters of kana script. These brushes were recently rediscovered in storage and are now being offered with freshly added name inscriptions.

Made from a rare blend of aged goat hair and white horsehair, the brush provides a unique balance of suppleness and resilience—resulting in a smooth yet elastic writing experience. It is especially well-suited for:

Kana calligraphy on half-width paper (han-ketsu)

Medium-sized kanji in sōsho (cursive script) and other flowing styles
