こちらは、鈴鹿墨の乾燥工程『藁干し』を再現した藁干し墨『墨ものがたり』です。

藁の製造工程に灰乾燥後、墨を藁（わら）で編んで吊るし乾燥させる工程があります。藁で編まれたたくさんの墨が吊り下げれている様子は、墨作りの光景として象徴的な情景です。

この製品は、インテリア・ディスプレイ用に藁干しを再現した製品ですが、使用している墨は磨ってご使用いただく事も可能です。

墨には脱臭、消臭効果があるので、お部屋や玄関、トイレなどに置いておくのもお勧めです。

８本の固形墨が藁で編みこんであります。
書道をされている方はもちろんですが、広くプレゼント用にもおすすめです。

“Sumi Monogatari” – Straw-Hung Ink Display (Usable & Decorative)
This unique piece recreates the traditional “waraboshi” (straw drying) process used in the production of Suzuka sumi ink.
In the final stage of drying, ink sticks are traditionally tied with woven straw and hung in clusters—an iconic and nostalgic scene from ink-making workshops.

This product beautifully reproduces that image: eight solid ink sticks are intricately woven into a straw braid, making it a charming interior decoration piece.
Although made for display, the ink sticks are fully functional and can be ground and used for calligraphy if desired.

In addition, sumi ink has natural deodorizing and air-purifying effects, making it ideal for placing in entryways, living spaces, or even restrooms.
