今では三重県鈴鹿市白子地区で唯一となった鈴鹿墨の墨匠『進誠堂』で作られた
１丁型の青墨になります。松煙の自然な青みが特徴で顔料を一切使用しておりません。
非常に透明感のある淡墨が特徴です。
やや青灰色の墨色が気品を感じさせます。
水墨画にも使用していただけ書画両用の逸品です。

This 1-chō size blue ink stick was crafted by Shinseidō, the sole remaining ink artisan in the Shiroko district of Suzuka City, Mie Prefecture—the last producer of Suzuka Ink, a Traditional Craft officially designated by Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
The ink is made purely from pine soot, with no added pigments, resulting in a naturally blue hue unique to this traditional process.
It produces a highly transparent pale ink, with a refined blue-gray tone that conveys a sense of quiet elegance.
Suitable for both calligraphy and ink painting, this is a truly versatile and distinguished piece.
