This is a colorful 10-color set of Reikin-sen (冷金箋), a premium handmade washi paper for calligraphy, featuring delicate gold sand (kin-sunago) accents that add elegance without overwhelming your brushwork.
This updated version builds on the previous 8-color (Hachishoku) set, now with the addition of red and pink, for a total of 10 hues:
Light blue, yellow, white, uguisu green, beige, pale yellow, orange, light brown, red, and pink — each color includes 10 hanshi-sized sheets, totaling 100 sheets.
The paper is designed for kanji calligraphy, but its controlled absorbency also makes it suitable for modern poetic works and chōwa-tai (mixed kanji–kana script).
