ちなみに大色紙という、いわゆるサイン色紙サイズの通常サイズです。今では小色紙と呼ばれるサイズが昔は一般的で、皇室ではいまだにこちらが主流で使用されているとのことです。

Interestingly, what is now known as “small shikishi” was once the norm, while this larger size remains the traditional choice used by the Imperial Household.
