平安時代の仮名の主原料、生松松煙を使い、黒さを強調するためにハリの強い日本鹿膠を使い特別な製法で膠量を減らして煤の色を生かし、平安の墨色を表現しています。
平安時代の古筆を書かれるときにいかがでしょう。

"Tomoshibi" is a rare pine soot ink stick (shōenboku) specifically crafted for kana calligraphy, made by Bokuundo, a respected ink maker in Nara.

This ink is based on historical techniques from the Heian period, using raw pine soot (namematsu shōen)—the primary material for ancient kana writing. To highlight the depth of its natural black tone, a firm Japanese deer glue (nihon shikakō) is used in smaller quantities through a special production method, allowing the rich color of the soot to shine through.

It beautifully recreates the soft, matte black tones seen in classical kana manuscripts and is ideal for those studying or copying Heian-period calligraphy.

This 0.7-chō size ink stick is best suited for small-scale works.
