This exquisite 5-color ink stick set, titled “Kō no Setsugetsufūka” (煌の雪月風花 – Radiant Snow, Moon, Wind, and Flower), is a signature work by Shinseidō, the last remaining ink craftsman in the Shirako district of Suzuka City, Mie Prefecture. Suzuka Ink (Suzuka-zumi) is a nationally recognized traditional craft with a long-standing history.

Each ink stick features a classic Japanese color infused with delicate shimmering metallic flakes, creating a luminous finish perfect for calligraphy, painting, textile dyeing, and creative crafts.

This set combines the poetic elegance of the “Snow, Moon, Wind, and Flower” theme (Setsugetsufūka) with the brilliance of Kō no Iro (煌の彩), a shimmering ink line that adds subtle sparkle to your work.
